Lives and works in Moscow
Daniil Abcdanke is an artist who began his practice in street art in 2008. Today his visual language is a finely balanced synthesis of graffiti, painting and experimental visual forms.
Drawing inspiration from nature, travel, music and the urban environment, he creates works in which real landscapes are transformed into abstract visual images. His canvases are rich in colour, texture and detail, and their narrative structures balance between fantasy and observation.
A defining feature of Daniil's work is its layering and sense of spontaneity, as if the scenes were assembled from fragments of memory and fleeting impressions. Some elements carry references to street culture and the graffiti code, but in a more composed and restrained form: refined, rethought and integrated into a broader visual context.
