Artem Over

Artem Over works with abstract painting and graphics. His artistic practice grew out of graffiti, which he has been doing since 2007, and brings together experience in street art, illustration and visual communication.

In his works Artem explores the perception of reality and the search for his own trajectory. He combines blurred figurative images with organic lines, signs and geometric elements. A modular grid organises the composition and sets its structure, while the line, which grew out of graffiti lettering, turns into an abstract script resembling movement or a network of connections. Working without a predetermined result, the artist explores how individual elements interact and how they can be brought together into a whole.

Artem graduated in design from the Tyumen State Academy of Culture, Arts and Social Technologies and in visual communication and art direction from the MADS international school of creativity. His projects include custom masks for the presentation of Kanye West's album DONDA, an art object for the Atom brand zone at VK Fest and participation in the BMW X2 Design Battle, where his work took first place in the national competition.
